GreenBridge Wireless FAQ

Questions about switching, activation, and keeping your number?

Here are the most common answers based on Perch Mobile’s public FAQ, activation guidance, and the GreenBridge Wireless offer.

About Perch Mobile

What is Perch Mobile?

Perch Mobile is a wireless service focused on affordable plans, credit-building through phone payments, 5G coverage on AT&T’s network, and a no-credit-check, no-contract model.

What network does Perch use?

Perch says it offers 5G coverage on AT&T’s network.

Making the Switch

How do I switch to Perch?

Choose a plan, make sure your phone is unlocked if needed, decide whether to keep your number, and complete activation using the required carrier-transfer details.

Can I keep my current phone number?

Yes. You can keep your existing phone number during activation.

Do I need a new phone?

Not necessarily. In many cases you can use your current phone if it is compatible and unlocked.

Will I lose my contacts, photos, and text messages?

Usually no. Switching carriers does not normally erase data stored on your phone or in your cloud account, but backing up your device before switching is always a smart step.

Does my phone need to be unlocked to switch to Perch?

Yes. Your phone should generally be unlocked before switching so it can be activated on the new service.

Porting Your Number

What does porting mean?

Porting means transferring your existing phone number from your old carrier to your new wireless provider.

What information do I need to port my number?

You will usually need your current carrier account number, transfer PIN or number-transfer PIN, your phone number, and the correct billing ZIP code on file.

Should I cancel my service with my old carrier before porting?

No. Keep your old line active until the port is complete so your number can transfer correctly.
